I recently went and filled one of those red plastic type gasoline cans for my mower. I mow about once a week. I returned from filling it this evening and I cannot find the little cap that covers the end of the tube. I have it sitting on the back porch in the shade. My slight concern is that I am in Louisiana, where it gets extremely hot outside this time of year, and was curious if it is safe to leave setting there? It is not around any type of electrical outlets or anything like that. It is sitting on cement under a small back porch roof with shade. Just a safety precaution I was curious about. Any help would be greatly appreciated....Thanks.
