So I was a stage 1 for this cancer...I had a neck dissection and the lymphnodes came back negitive...They did however, tell me there was focal lymphatic invasion...and wanted me to have radiation, but chose NOT to do that to me since I am as young as I am and have 3 small children...Can anyone please explain to me what focal lymphatic invasion means? I had asked the doc, and I still couldnt grasp the concept..I tend to be slow when it comes to this, and need to be told this kind of stuff in a childs way! lol....I still have ear pain after my partial glossectomy on feb 2 2010...anyone out there that can help me understand a little more? THANX!!!!
