Question about sprint cell phone bill.?

ok so I went way over on my text messaging this month. i checked my bill online and it says "want to reduce your additional charges find out how to change your plan" I want to do this anyway to get a plan with unlimited texting. but i am wondering if anyone has done this and if by changeing your plan if they took off the additional charges. thanks
