My room-ate is moving out in the time she was here she spilled ambesol on one of my end tables taking off the paint and ruining the table, she also burnt a hole in my brand new 700$ couch, the back seat of my car, and a shelving unit, and melted a hole in the side of my child safety seat (car seat) can I take her to small claims for the cost of the damages? What are my chances of winning? at the times of these events me and her where the only ones present, but she did admit to it in front of a few people.

But I don't think it will hold up in anything more then small claimes court
I will be sewing for the MA max of 2,000 and the damages are way more then that the estimate to fix my back seat was more then my car is worth.
