i've been watching the whole series on dvd, and i noticed that both miranda and samantha have nudity, but charlotte or carrie dont. i did read it was in sjp's contract that she would have no nudity, but was it in kristen davis's? and if so, why did kim catrall and cynthia nixon agree to it??
 
Actually, unless she used a body double, Charlotte also appeared nude. I couldn't answer why the others did it, but many actresses do.
