If I want to set my focal length to say 30mm....is there a way of doing it without having to take a picture first and checking its info to see that I've set it to exactly 30mm??
I mean I can round about guess by looking at the numbers on the zoom ring......but I won't know for sure (ie. it may look like I've set it to 30mm by looking at the numbers on the zoom ring, but how do I know for sure it's not, say at 28mm) unless I take a pic and look at the pics info.
Thanks, I'm using an Olympus E-3.
Oh also another question concerning the Olympus.....if someone says they're focal length is set to 60mm using a Canon or Nikon.....would this be 30mm for an Olympus?
