I was in the process of updating my iPhone to the latest software release, but received an error message telling me I'd have to restore my iPhone before I could continue. I know how to restore my iPhone, but if I perform the restore process, will I be able to recover my videos? I keep reading postings that advise only contacts, music, ringtones will be able to be restored. I shot some videos of family that I'd hate to lose. I have an external hard drive that performs backups regularly, but when I performed a search for videos, nothing from my iPhone was on that drive. Does anybody know how I can recover my videos?
