I used to live in the country, where recycling services where not offered, now that we live in the city and have the option I would like to start. I see the truck come around, and it appears that the recycling is distributed according to what it is, not just all tossed in the truck together.
My question is, do I need to separate it some how, maybe get separate bins? Or will the men that collect do that? I see people with 2 and 3 bins at the curb side, and I was just curious if I need to separate it myself? My family always buys the canned sodas so we have a lot of those, and a lot of plastic containers and recyclable cardboard as well.
