Can a pulled upper back muscle cause weakness in the right arm? I was carrying some heavy bags the other day and it was a long walk to the car. When I put the bags down, I felt my right arm tingle very mildly and then it felt like it was on the verge of going numb. Then it felt weak... and when I lifted a bag my right arm would shake... it lasted several hours. Later, my whole right area felt sore. I feel like I damaged something in my upper area (around shoulder blade), but I cannot pinpoint. Now when I type it feels like my right arm will feel as if it's on the verge of going numb and it gets tight. What should I do?
