Question about pricing.

I'm going to step down (Or is this a step up?) to the L7c. But i was wondering, Is the 199.00 i see in the store the price for a new customer only? Or is that the price you pay for either a new customer or if your already a customer? I'm wondering as i don't want to get there expecting to pay 199.00 and then pay 250.00+

That's the price you pay regardless.. the only "new customer pricing" they offer is online.

You should really think about buying a better phone on ebay rather than getting a crappy l7c.... You can mod the xv6700 (pocket PC), LG chocolate and Env (and most other LG phones), and a few other phones completely to cricket (meaning MMS and internet work, giving you full functionality for all services cricket offers) easily.

Personally, I think the 6700 is the best phone available from any carrier, and I'd rather have an EnV or a vx8600 than ANY phone cricket offers.

You can buy any of these phones for around $200 on ebay, and it's cheap and fairly easy to reprogram them for cricket.

Aaah. I was looking at a Treo 600 (89.00 - 119.00) or something like the enV. But i'll probably wait and buy a nicer phone when work will pay for the phone (I'm moving and will be getting a new job that will most likely pay for a phone) But i have looked around at what else is for Cricket. and for now i just want a good phone call. ;)

i bought 2 of these phones(moto l7c) last week. im sorry but i think these phones are great. we also got insurance on them so if ANYTHING happens to them regardless of the situtation, they will replace them. were happy with the phones. now the phone is not for everyone, but they do serve us well. im a mojor phone junky and i have to say the moto l7c is a great phone, eventhough im just another voice in the crowd.

Understood... If I were in that situation, I'd consider the LG vx8600. It's a nice flip phone (exact same features as the chocolate), and you can get them for around $150 on ebay. If you want one brand new with the warranty, I just talked to my verizon store.. retail is $239... (or about $180 on ebay.)

I had one for about a week, and I didn't like it at all... but that's just my opinion.. the l7c is basically the same phone as the RAZR, but without the flip... the razr is still one of the best selling phones in the country, so obviously it's not a piece of crap. However, I'd rather have the music features and other cool stuff LG puts in their phones, or the awesome functionality of my pocketpc xv6700.

Insurance is the ONLY reason I'd consider a stock cricket hanRABet these days, and even that's not a great reason... by the time you pay your deductible, you're repaying almost 50% of the cost of a replacement phone on ebay anyway.
