Question about prepaid

'kay hi guys.
This is noob, maybe it isn't, but I never really thought to ask,
anyways..
I bought a prepaid phone in New Brunswick
I'm now in Ontario for about a month
And they don't sell the same prepaid cards I got down east.
If I bought from another company
Will the card work?
 
"New Brunswick" what?...New Jersey, Canada?

Well anyway, the answer is no. Prepaid cards work for that specific carrier only.
