I have photoshop elements 8. I was making a drawing, so first I did the lineart, and then a second layer. But when I look at the second layer by itself, the background isn't white but checkered gray and white. Also, when I try to erase something on the lineart, the checkers show up. Can anyone explain why this is happening?
