we bought some pool chemicals from argos and the set includes test strips to test the pH levels and the chlorine levels. We opened one packet of test strips and on one end of the test strip was one square colour of pale green (the chlorine test colour) and the other coloured square directly above it was red (the ph test colour) so we tested our pool water and the red colour just turned pink and the chlorine level went green. so we opened another packet and the pH level square was orange? why would it be orange? the first packet was red. we left the orange ones out and they turned red after a few days? why would this happen?
