So i was going to attend a cal state last semester. I filled out the FAFSA and qualified for a good amount of financial aid. They were giving me a little over 4,000 a semester. Tuition at the cal state i was going to was a little over 2,000 a semester. So i had like 2,000 extra to pay for books and my own needs.
However i didnt attend cal state. I decided to go to a local city college, in hopes of transferring to a UC or private school.
My question is.... if i do attend a UC or a private school, will the finacial aid cover most of the tuition like it did for a cal sate? Im thinking about Loyola Marymount University, which is a private university that cost 31,000 a year (16,000 per semester). Would financial aid cover most of my tuition in a private school. Say I Decide to transfer to USC,...that cost around 50,000 a year...How much will the financial aid cover for really expensive schools?
