The way my house is positioned on the bend of the street, I cannot park a car there, since it would be blocking the mailbox (which, to my understanding is illegal). So i usually have my friends who come over park in front of the neighbors houses, and stuff (never more than 2 cars). Today my neighbor came over, angry that a friend's car was in front of her house, and demanded I move it. My question is, is there any law that says I cannot park there? The is no "No Parking" sign, and to my understanding, the streets and the first few yards of the lawn belong to the government anyway... so can she have me move my car legally? Could she get the Police involved over a traffic violation of some kind?
