In Georgia we have to pass an emissions test to get your car a new registration sticker for the next year. Our car didn't pass. All we know is the check engine light is on and when we had the emissions test done the code P1705 came up. I looked up what this meant, and I found "Direct Clutch Speed Circuit Fawlt". We only know it's some electrical wiring problem, but have no idea how to fix it. Is this something we can do easily ourselves or will this require some skilled mechanic? Will this be very costly? Thank you.
