I've had this nokia 6101 since late Dec. A few weeks later, I noticed some hairline cracks on my screen. Really don't know where I got them from. But, I put up with it. Then, the hairline cracks started to thicken and became blackened. It actually looks like a mariujuan plant. It appears that there are three black leaves on my screen. I don't what I did. Perhaps, I rolled over on it while sleeping. But, my question is would I be able to replace the screen without costing too much?
I have been surfing ebay for a new phone. I don't thnk that I want this model, again. As, we have had problems. My husband phone is in service, now. It just quit working one day. They sent a loaner "LG" phone. It has been 3 weeks, already. They said that it can take up to 8 weeks.
Our phones were not insured. But, I'm sure they probably wouldn't cover my cracked screen even under warranty.
Then, to top it off, my daughter just dropped hers in the toilet. But, I told her - too bad!! I know they will not replace that. She believes that they won't be able to tell.
But, anyways, any hope for my cracked screen issue?

Okay, so my question is any idea on how expensive it would be to get it fixed? Would it be worth it, or just buy a new phone?

Are you talking about the external or main screen? The external screen goes for $20 - $30. The main screen maybe more, around $50. And if you bring it in to a Nokia care center, outside of the products, you have to factor in labor. Call about servicing your phone.
