I am looking to start a computer repair business on the side, when I am not at work. I currently live in NJ, and will only service NJ so only NJ laws will apply
When I do work for client, I receive payments under my first and last name, but for marketing purposes I use a aka name i am not going to give the real name, but for example purposes we will use "computer doctor" i have a website with that demo name as well and business cards. Is what i am doing legal, as long as the client knows that the work is done actually under my first and last name and i just that allias for marketing purposes and I receieve no payments under the marketing name?
