I was awarded approximately 20k in grants and loans because of my zero EFC. My question is, with this loan and grant money can I use any of that for out of the classroom expenses? ie; gas, paper, pens, food and things like that or can I only use loan/grant money for my tuition and room/board?
Also, what happens if I accept too much of this money? I don't think I'll actually need to whole 20k, but I will probably accept more than I think I'll need so I know i'm covered for the year. If theres extra what happens to it?
