question about my car?

i just got my timing belt changed by a mechanic but now it makes a weird sound the same sound when you put the car in reverse and go back. my friend said it might b because they tighten the timing belt too much. can someone help me its a 98 civic 112k
 
your freind is right. also ask whoever did it did they change the cam belt tensioner. that also would cause that noise. hope this helps.
