Question about military college credits?

This is something that I've never cleared up. I have 30 credits from the military and passed into my rate, but my transcripts don't show a GPA for my credits. Does the military calculate a GPA or does it just give credit? The reason I ask is because I'm trying to calculate my current overall GPA.
