my horse is a mud-aholic and will roll in mud any chance that he gets. it recently rained ALOT and of course every time i groom him he goes and et covered in mud again. he is very good with his head, hes not head shy at all but he has mud all over his face and i know that you dont use a curry comb or anything on their face, so i use a soft brush or a soft rag to get the mud off and it takes me about 30 minutes to an hour.
how do you get the mud off of your horses face?

also, though its not super cold here its still too cold to use water on him. so preferably a way to get the mud off with out using water
