Last year I went to the hospital (without insurance) for a kidney stone. My bill was around 6,000 dollars. I wasn't able to pay and I think it is soon going to be put on my credit history (for like uncollectable debt or something) From what I understand that stays on there for seven years. My question is if it is paid off eventually will it come off. And if that isn't the case then will it go away after seven years without being paid? I'm a college student, I'm a bit irresponsible and my parents didn't help me figure this out. I'm hoping to figure it out so it wont' affect me as adversely in the future.
