My dyed red hair fades really quickly, even with colour-protecting products. Can I keep the left over dye, and then every third or fourth time I wash my hair, add a little squirt of it to a dollop of shampoo to keep the colour in? It seems to be a solution, although I'm not sure if the chemicals would clash or something. Suggestions?
