My friend and I signed up with Bally for a 2 year gym membership. However, we went there only twice during the first 2 weeks, then never went back.
We did pay for the first month, then after that, we never received the bills again, and so we thought the bills didnt come because we stopped using Bally's service.
Then 1 year after this, a debt collector called my friend to ask for a whole-year-payment of gym-membership. my friend told him exactly what i just said above, (did not receive the bills, never used the gym again, therefore we did not think about it)
after a few times, they stopped calling my friend.
Now, 3 years after this, i'm just wondering if they will come back with a bigger bill or bring us to court because my teacher said they won't let it go easily. Debt collector always come back even it's 10 years. what do u think? any advice? please...
