I have recently had garnishment taken out of my paycheck everytime I get paid, due to a civil lawsuit from capital one. Yesterday I opened a bank account for the first time. Can they garnish whatever is in my bank account even though they have been garnishing a percentage of my paycheck going towards what I owe? Or can they only garnish from one source. I live in Minnesota btw... and I owe about 1,000 dollars.
