Question about gaming pc's?

Going to be doing a gaming pc build. 8gig of ram DDR3, ATI 5770 with 1gig memory, 750 watt PSU , Windows vista 64 swiching up to 7 64 bit later., AMD 965 black edition phenom2 X4 3.40 GHz processor . For a ground basis idea working for a High end gaming rig that will last a few years how on track am I? Wanting it to last atleats a few years for gaming.
