I recently bought a ford escort it's a 95', and I have been having problems with the key it is bent so it wont turn in the ignition sometimes, I've been wiggling with it trying to get it to work. My dad said that you can call the ford dealership and get another key made off the dealership but I called and they wont make a key for a 95 ford escort, they said they only make them for as far back as a 2001. What can I do now?
I called a locksmith in my local area to find out how much it would cost to get another key made for the ignition, and much to my surprise it's only like twenty bucks. So I think that's what I'm going to have done.
