My daughter was working in the kiosk at the mall in our city (T-Mobile), they sold phones, did contracts, phone accesories, etc... My Quaestion is was she covered under the FLSA? There were at least 3 employees plus the owner. Here are my questions
Does this business fall under the FLSA?
Is this business required to pay minimum wage?
Is this business required to pay for hours used for training the employee? (My daughter worked two weeks with no pay because the boss said it was training)?
Is this business required to provide upon request, a statement of the hourly wages, hours worked and an explanation of deductions from the employee paycheck? (There was no stub provided with the payroll check).
