I've had the same old phone for 7 years and had a friend recently give me a Verizon Blackberry Storm 9530. Cricket is way more affordable so I am considering a "full flash" to switch over from Verizon. My question is...what functions of the phone will I lose if I do so? I was told I would still have talk, text, web, etc. But what about navigator/gps and access to apps?
And on the apps subject....for someone that has never had a smartphone and doesn't even really know what an "app/application" is, do I really need them?
