Okay, I have a freshwater fish tank, and everything is good except for one thing, the hardness. The ph, the nitrine, the nitrite, the alkalinity, the temperature, and the chlorine amount is good, but the hardness is "Very Hard." I have this water tester kit, and it says that hardness is "Very Hard." I thought with time, the hardness would soften, and I have been waiting for about 16 weeks. I did put a feeder fish in there to even out the bacteria and what not, but it didn't do anything.
