Question about Financial Aid?

I was eligible for $8,000 dollars in 2008. But when I applied I was living with 6 other family members with a yearly total income of $20,000 dollars for the entire family. Okay the deadline for filing for financial aid this year is June 30th but I am planning on getting married at the beginning of June. If I file now and give them my information now which at the moment is the same as last years and if am awarded this financial aid, am I legally able to keep the money or will I have to return it since it will only be my husband and I but we are both going to the same college and studying the same thing. I am confused on how to file for financial aid now because I think we will still get financial aid because we are full time college students and have no way of working at the same time and we only have one car which we just bought. So before anyone says get a job and pay for you own college, we are trying and right now we need extra help and we just used all of our funds for buying a reliable car that we won't have to worry about later on down the road. Thanks for any good answers.

First, the 2009-10 Fafsa form is based on 2008 information, so it doesn't matter that you are getting married this June......Once you get married, if you are both full-time student; 1st I congratulate you both, it's extremely hard, my husband and I did the same thing and it pays off in the end

Anyways, at my school, married couples who are both ft students are treated as individual students and get the single student budget which is more money than the married students budget which takes into consideration that there is a working spouse.

You should quality for need-based aid..........good luck
