I have a basic stationary exercise bike. It displays time, speed, distance, and calories burned.
Are the calories burned accurate? I peddle at a speed of around 18-20 mph and it says about 100 calories per 10 minutes at this rate. When I bike for an hour it says I've burned over 600 calories, but I dont really feel too tired, so I was starting to doubt that my machine was accurate.
Also, the bike has 10 different settings for tension. I usually just bike on level 1 or 2. Is there any benefit to upping the tension?
