I recently went to the dermatologist for the first time 3 weeks ago. He said i have light palish skin, and really sensitave skin, which i have already discovered. He gave me two topical thigns to put on my face; one for at night and one for in the morning. I dont really know what they are. The one i put on at night is in a bottle that looks like a cough syrup bottle. It kindof smells like rotten eggs; the smell is jsut not the plesant, and it looks like foundation. when i put it on my face, my face feels dry but it doesnt dry out. it just feels like...when you rub your fingers over dried clay. it feels jsut wierd. and its used to help treat my bigger pimples, the ones that are more of the painful kind. the bottle has written on it: HC0.5/SAL3/SULF5/RA LOT. and i have no idea what it means. The thing i put on in the morning is used for all theese small bumps i have, he said they were clogged like pores. i like this stuff because it leaves my face not oily or dry, and kindof of soft. and its really liquidy the bottle says that its: clindamycin phosphate topical lotion 1%. And i have to wash my face with a non cented mouisterizing bar soap. Throughout the day my face feels itchy or just irritated. is it supposed to? my dermatologist was talking about how it migh tirritate my skin and he said we migh thave to put me on pills because my skins too sensitive so is that probally the case? i was also wondering if i could put any other products on my face besides the stuff he gave me. like at nigh tif i could put my normal lotion on my face before the foundation lookign stuff, and same with in the morning. I also havent noticed any change in my face. just a little irritation. I still keep getting pinples and it seems like im breaking out more on the side of my face by my temples. so how long will it be before i see results. or d you think hell have to geve me pills. sorry but could you please answer anything that seems like questions? sorry. and please dont tell me that i should be asking my dermatologist this stuff, but my next check up appointment is the first wednesday in april
PS: If my face should start clearing up in a few weeks or a month or so, should i still worry about the irritation? if this stuff works but is still irritating my skin with the dermatologist give me something new?
