question about dell laptop how to turn on bluetooth?

Look there where you can plug in your earphones is a switch thingy you can push forward or backward. You will see your bluetooth coming on.
 
when you turn on the wi-fi catcher switch, it also turns on bluetooth
if the lights on then bluetooth is on
but your laptop might just have the light but not the bluetooth card
to check if you do have bluetooth
open device manager
it should say bluetooth radios and it should have the card and the antenna there

if they don't come out then you do not have bluetooth
