Question about data plan and blackberry

So I just got an 8320 a couple of days ago and have been itching to use it to it's full extent. Just had some questions regarding the data plan and any help would be very great!

Does the 19.99 Blackberry Unlimited Add-on = the data plan?
Using AIM/MSN/ICQ (via JiveTalk or otherwise) uses data and not text messags right?
If I use the AIM client on its own, does it still use just data?
Downloading ringtones, surfing the web, checking gmail, e-mail is all covered under the unlimited BB add-on right?
Wi-Fi access is separate from data (hence H@H)?
Is there anything that isn't covered under t-mobiles data plan that I need to be careful about?

Sorry for all the newbie type questions, it's just been a long time since I got a data plan for a phone and wanted to make sure I checked up on everything before adding it on.

Thanks for any help!

I haven't tried downloading 3rd party IMs, but yes... IMs do not run off data, they run off SMS. (You also gotta pay for MMS too, which sucks!)

Yes the $19.99 is the Data Plan minus the Enterprise Server

Websurfing and all emailing is covered in your Data Plan

Wi Fi is seperate from Data

Nope, pretty much its everything. The only thing u don't have is enterprise, and that's pretty much for businesses anyways. Jivetalk is data. But downloading ringtones costs however much the site tells u ~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~

even wifi access is free, and im ean free in the sense that you can use wifi to access the web and make calls at UMA for no additional charge (the voice minutes will be subrtacted from you voice plan).

Really? So if I can log into a wifi network (like at home or work) then I can surf the net for free (w/ data plan)? The wifi service I would have had to pay for then is for access via T-Mobile hotspots and using it to make calls and not have it deducted from my min?

Yeah if u add hotspot @ home u get free wifi minutes at every tmo hotspot, and u can set it up at home and work, and pretty much everywhere u want

For the Curve the IM client actually runs off data. Older Tmo IM clients were SMS based. So all you need is the $19.99 data and you're set for Email/web surfing/Im chatting.
