Okay, so I'm not sure if everyone's heard of it, but D2L (Desire to Learn) is a website that enables students to use it as sort of a school's Facebook. Now, when I log on to my D2L homepage, there's no little green box in the upper right hand corner like there should be. Without this, I can't use chat and it's really bugging me how sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not. I also can't see half of my name in that corner. Does this have something to do with it? Is it just hidden? If so, how do I move the page over? (And yes, my page is as big as it can get and no, there is no bar at the bottom to scroll over with like there is on the side of a page.) If you could tell me how to fix this and why it's like this, it would really help.
