My husband WAS court ordered to pay his his child support. Last November she went to the court house and signed a paper to drop it because the child came to live with us. Well, we had him from November to Feb. and she demanded that we give him back. Well, because she has full custody we had to let her have him. When she got him back, she wanted my husband to start paying her child support again. He has been paying her once a month. But recently, the child is saying that the money is going towards her beer, etc.... He has been coming over to our house wearing her clothes before. So, I decided that we should just start taking the money that we give her and go buy clothes, shoes, underwear, things for him. I haven't talked to her about this yet. I just fill like I don't have to explain anything to her. But I have been making her sign a paper stating that she has been getting it, with the date and the amount on it. If I started taking the money and buy things for him, should I keep the receipts so just in case she takes my husband back to court, I will have proof that the CHILD has been getting it? And if so, will all my documents hold up? Thank you.
The only problem with what Eric said, she dosen't have a place to live. She lives with random people till they kick her out. And as I said, he's not court orfered to give her anything. She won't work, and she gets like $700 a month food stamps.
