Question about changing mazda 3 lights to HID'S.?

I really like the look of HID'S. So my question is, when i buy HID'S from online, ill be buying the LOW BEAM lights. So will this mean that my daylight running lights will be the HID as well as my night time driving lights will be the HID'S? Secondly that temperature matches the brightness of the bulbs in the car now?
 
It all depends.....If your daytime running lights are ran off the the SAME low beam lights the HID lights will most likely NOT turn on in the daytime. Daytime running lights run off a much lower voltage than what is needed to power up the ballast of the HID system. Most HID system require 9-12 volts just to turn on the ballast, DRL's (daytime running lights) use very roughly half that voltage......I know for a fact a few years ago when I had a 99 Pontiac Gramd Am, the DRL's did NOT function after I installed an HID kit......Also if you have a stock dual-filament bulb, meaning if your hi beam, are the same as your low beam, you will LOSE your hi beams. HID's are only on or off, there is no in between, they don't get brighter or dimmer, and there is no filament........Even Bi-xenon lights do not get brighter, when people turn on their brights, Bi-xenon lights merely change the angle of direction of the lights so the light will shine farther when the brights are activated.....It is obviously very different technology than your standard halogen gas filled incandescent bulb.
