Question about CDMA vs GSM phones

Twinkling Too

If I'm not mistaken I think verizon is CDMA and they DO NOT have sim cards.
While on the other hand Cingular is GSM and THEY DO have sim cards.
(correct me if I was wrong there)
Now that being said I notice both service offers the phone RAZR V3.

My question is, if I get the razr v3 phone from verizon (the CDMA one) will it have a SIM card slot like the GSM versions?

If not, does that mean the phones are made differently for each network?

Thanks for reading.

both phones are made differently, sprint verizon alltel and cricket have CDMA razrs without sim card and tmobile and att have GSM razrs with sim cards by the way cdma is much faster the only downside of cdma is if you travel internationally
