Hi. I'd like to ask about two questions about cars in the US.
1) In the US do you have rules and regulations that your car has to be maintained every a few years? If yes, how do people call the regular obligatory maintenance? What is the name of it?
2) In Japan, after the obligatory maintenance, I get a sticker which has to be place upon the front glass of the car. The sticker shows a number so that the police can tell violation of the law. Do you get such sticker in the US?

My bad.. yes our sticker too. The number I said is the expiration date.
