Yesterday I went through with my first lease (2011 Mazda 3 sport). Mazda has a royalty program where if you have a family member who owns a Mazda you get $500 off. My sister owns a Mazda and we included this rebate with the lease price. As it turns out she is on vacation and will be unable to fax me her registration for the car (I'm supposed to pick up the Mazda tomorrow and give the dealer the copy of the registration). Will not having the registration BREAK the lease or will the dealer be able to just tack on $500 over the 42-months? I already signed the paperwork. Today is Sunday and I'm sitting on pins and needles.
