I'm turning seventeen in October, and FINALLY, my parents are teaching my twin sister and I how to drive. I know that to practice at all, you're supposed to have a practice permit and to get one, you need to take the permit test. How is the test taken? (on a computer at the DMV, written, etc.) Do you just show up after making an appointment, take the test, and leave? I'm just confused about the whole process of the learner's permit...
