Okay, so tonight I was going out and some person behind me was flashing their lights to warn me about something, so I pulled over and found out that all of the lights on the backside of my car were out (brake lights). So I turned my car off, called my dad, and when he turned my car on, the lights were working again!!!!! He is going to check it tomorrow, but for my own piece of mind, I would like to know what the deal is? It apparently is not the bulbs, or the lights would not have came back on when the car restarted, so I am thinking it is something electrical, because sometimes the lights on the inside of the car (light for gear shift, the light on the top inside of car, light for clock..etc.) will not come on.. and I have to hit it (ghetto I know.. )
Also, will this be easily fixed? just based on what I have said? I know no one on here can tell me exactly without seeing it,but I really would just like to know!!
Thanks!!!
I hit it in select places.. like when the clock/radio light dims, I kind of tap around the screen until it turns back on... and the gear shift light has been out for years come to think of it... and when the light on the top inside of the car goes out I kind of just hit it.. not the best method, but it really annoys me..
