My fiance and I had decided on a site for our reception and it seemed perfect. When we called to ask them a few questions about it, everything seemed to be going alright until my fiance asked when we would come by to take a look at the place. They replied that they don't "do tours." This just struck me as extremely odd, since how do they expect people to know how to set up or if everything is in working order if the first time you see if is when you rent it? It's a reputable place, in a state park. The reviews never say anything negative. So are we supposed to figure out how our tables are going to be set up the day of the wedding? It comes with tables, but they said they're folded up in a large storage room on site. What would happen if we just drove by and peeked in through the windows? And is this normal when booking a place like this?
