what can I do

Guest
I have 2, 10 gallon tanks. I recently had 3 bettas in one, 2 had their own seperate containers while one roamed free of the aquarium. I have 2 males, 1 blue/green, 1 red, then i have 1 blue/green female. A few days ago I set up the other 10 gallon tank I have with a filter, heater, gravel and fake plants. I waited a few days, and moved the red betta into there. He loved it and thrived, he also loves to ride in the current of the filter. I have lots of space in that tank, it looks kind of empty besides him in there. Can I add some fish in there? if so, what fish can I put in there with him? thanks for answering :D

Most Bettas can and do get along within a community tank. Just avoid fish with long, flowing fins, such as fancy guppies. Your Betta might mistake them for another Betta. I've kept Bettas with Platys, Corydora cats, and Tetras. Never any problems with them. Just remember the "inch of fish rule." Only one inch of fish per gallon of water. Also, buy multiples of fish that like to school. Your local fish store can help you out. Good luck!

Don't listen Jrdn there are plenty fish that can go with a betta but since it is only a 10 gallon i would stick with 6 neon tetras
