question about being a doctor and their lifestyle?

I have been set on becoming a doctor for a bit now and I love almost everything about it.
I love to learn about the human body and medicines. I actually love to learn in general.
I'm great under pressure and I feel I can do anything if I put my mind to it.
well, heres a couple of important details... I know that I want to be an anesthesiologist and I feel that I'd be great at that. BUT I was wondering if it was worth it. with the pay during internship and residency and then the crazy working hours. I mean, I know the reward is helping people and thats wonderful but I also wanted to know; what are the hours and how much do they get paid during that? do anesthesiologist have lives outside of the hospital? could I choose to keep a balanced life with the hours? what classes should I take? (I'm in 10th now but for the future). and when does the crazy working hours start to reduce? (what age).
please and thank you.
