Question about battery life

Mjellow.

I know that the T3 has a SD slot and mp3 player software, but for how long will the battery last if you are listening to music? (thru headphones.. small ones).

Also, is it possible to turn the screen off while listening to music in order to save battery? (or maybe just turn down the brightness).

Two hours of MP3 playing on the T3 was about max.

Depending upon which MP3 player your using - most of the newer versions have the ability to play in the background with the screen off. Check the documentation for that player. Under the Real Player - it's called Auto Power Save after X number of minutes. This will turn the screen off and continue playback.

I prefer Pocket Tunes by normsoft over Real Player because of more options. But now I'm using both a T5 and Treo 650.
