Question about art...?

I just read the book The Pact by Jodi Picoult and in the book it talks about how you can tell if someone has been sexually abused or if they're depressed by looking at their art. Like, for example, the book said that people who have been sexually abused tend to emphasize on tongues and eyelashes in their art. I was wondering if anyone knew if there was a place online where it can tell you more about this kinda stuff and tell you what charecteristics of art symbolize certain things. Thanks!
