Question about Apple TV 2?

i recently purchased Apple TV 2 the new one (http://www.apple.com/appletv/) and was super excited to see all of m shows on my tv instead of my laptop and to do so wirelessly, at my house i don't have a typical internet service though i have a jailbroken iphone and use this an app called MyWi 4.0 (http://www.intelliborn.com/mywi.html) which then turns my phone's 3g service into a Wi-Fi Hotspot which lets me connect my macbook pro to the internet anywhere in my house, it will connect to my xbox 360, my ipod touch, and my brothers dell lap top. however when we ar all connected at the same time speeds drop dramatically. but my problem is that my new Apple TV 2 won't read my network, but everything else will why is this? and i've tried disconnecting everything else from my network to retry it and still nothing please any help will be greatly appreciated
